Car service to the World Cruise Center
The World Cruise Center at the Port of Los Angeles, in San Pedro, is one of the busiest cruise terminals on the West Coast, with ships sailing to Mexico, Hawaii, Alaska and beyond. Embarkation days are busy: thousands of passengers arrive with luggage at the same time, and parking fills up fast.
A RielVIP chauffeur makes the start and end of your cruise easy. You're picked up at the airport, your hotel or your home, driven in a private executive sedan or SUV with room for your bags, and dropped at the terminal curb. You see your price before you confirm.
Airport transfers
The terminal is about 22 miles from LAX, usually 30 to 60 minutes, and about 12 miles from Long Beach Airport. John Wayne Airport works too, about 35 miles away. Your chauffeur tracks your flight and meets you at the terminal curb or inside with a name sign, then drives you to the port or to your hotel if you're sailing the next day.
Embarkation day
Cruise lines set their own check-in windows, and missing the ship isn't an option. Leave plenty of time between landing and final check-in. Many travelers fly in the day before and stay near the port or in Long Beach, then take a short ride to the terminal in the morning. At the curb, porters take your checked luggage and you head inside with your carry-on.
Disembarkation and the ride home
When your ship returns, you'll disembark and clear customs before collecting your bags. Book your return pickup for the morning your ship arrives, and your chauffeur meets you outside the terminal and drives you to the airport, your hotel or home. For flights the same day, leave a generous gap after the ship's arrival.
Families and groups
Cruise luggage takes up a lot of space. Choose an SUV for most couples and families, and book more than one vehicle for bigger groups and wedding parties. Add each guest's name for the greeting sign and your ship's name to Extra Notes.
San Pedro or Long Beach?
The Port of Los Angeles and the Port of Long Beach sit side by side, and each has its own cruise terminal. Check your cruise documents for your departure terminal. If you're sailing from Long Beach instead, see our Long Beach Cruise Terminal page.
Vehicles
Choose from executive sedans and SUVs, including our Premium SUV and Executive SUV. The seats and luggage space for each vehicle are listed below. Traveling as a group or with a lot of luggage? Choose an SUV or book more than one vehicle.
Rates
Your fare is based on the distance of your trip and the vehicle you choose, or on the number of hours for Hourly bookings. You will see the full price before you confirm. Tolls, parking and airport fees are only added when they apply, and they are shown to you before they are charged. Prepaid bookings already include a minimum gratuity. If your plans change, cancel at least 12 hours before your pickup to avoid being charged the full fare.
