Why travelers choose Long Beach Airport
Long Beach Airport is one of the easiest airports in Southern California. There's one terminal, the lines are usually short, and you often walk across the tarmac to board instead of using a jet bridge. For travelers heading to Long Beach, the South Bay or northern Orange County, it's often closer than LAX or John Wayne.
A small airport only helps if your ride is waiting when you walk out. Your RielVIP chauffeur tracks your flight and is at the terminal when you land. Our chauffeurs hold the permits required to pick up at LGB, and you know your price before you book.
How your Long Beach Airport pickup works
- Book at least 5 hours ahead. Add your airline and flight number when you book. You'll see your price before you confirm.
- We track your flight. Your chauffeur follows your real arrival time, not the time printed on your ticket. If your flight is delayed by more than an hour, call or text us at (213) 822-7658.
- Choose how you want to be met. Pick curbside pickup or Meet & Greet inside the terminal.
- Take your time at baggage claim. Waiting is free for 30 minutes after you land.
Curbside pickup or Meet & Greet
Curbside pickup works well at LGB because everything happens in one place. Collect your bags, walk out to the curb in front of the terminal, and your chauffeur pulls up. Rental cars are across the street in the Ground Transportation Center, so the terminal curb stays simple.
Meet & Greet means your chauffeur waits inside at baggage claim holding a sign with your name, or any text you choose when you book, then helps with your luggage. It's a good fit for first-time visitors, older travelers, and guests you're booking a ride for.
From Long Beach Airport to your cruise
Long Beach is a popular airport for cruise passengers. The Long Beach Cruise Terminal and the World Cruise Center in San Pedro are both a short drive away. If you're flying in on embarkation day, give yourself plenty of time between landing and your ship's boarding window, and pick a vehicle with room for cruise luggage.
Rides to Long Beach Airport
Your chauffeur picks you up at your home, hotel or office and drops you at the terminal curb. LGB is quick to get through, but the 405 and the 710 can back up at rush hour. Book your ride to arrive about 90 minutes before your flight.
Vehicles for your Long Beach transfer
Choose from executive sedans and SUVs, including our Premium SUV and Executive SUV. The seats and luggage space for each vehicle are listed below. Pick one with room for your bags, not just your passengers.

Long Beach Airport car service rates
Your fare is based on the distance of your trip and the vehicle you choose. You'll see the full price before you confirm your booking. Tolls, parking and airport fees are only added when they apply, and they're shown to you before they're charged. Prepaid bookings already include a minimum gratuity. If your plans change, cancel at least 12 hours before your pickup to avoid being charged the full fare.
