RielVIP ("RielVIP," "we," "us," or "our") is a private chauffeur and black car service operated by Riel Limo LLC. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit rielvip.com (the "Site") or use our booking and transportation services (collectively, the "Services"). By using the Site or the Services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide to us:

• Contact information: first and last name, email address, and phone number.
• Trip details: pickup and dropoff locations, additional stops, pickup date and time, service type, vehicle preference, number of passengers, luggage, extra car seats, flight number, greeting sign text, and any special requests or notes you provide.
• Communications you send us by phone, email, or through the Site.
• Discount codes and promotional information you choose to submit.

Information collected automatically:

• Device and usage information, including IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, pages visited, and the date and time of your visit.
• Approximate location, where your browser or device provides it, to help autocomplete or verify pickup and dropoff addresses.

Information from third-party services:

• We use Google Maps and Google Places to look up and verify addresses you enter. Your use of address autocomplete is also subject to Google's own privacy policy.
• We use a routing service to calculate distance and estimated travel time between the addresses you provide.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Process, confirm, and manage your reservations.
• Contact you about your reservation, including confirmations, chauffeur details, and day-of updates.
• Calculate fares and apply discount codes.
• Respond to inquiries and provide customer support.
• Improve the Site and our Services.
• Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or technical issues.
• Comply with legal obligations.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we have not sold personal information in the preceding twelve (12) months. We may share your information with:

• Our chauffeurs and dispatch staff, to the extent necessary to fulfill your reservation.
• Service providers who help us operate our business, including our website hosting provider, our database and backend infrastructure provider (Google Firebase), and our mapping and routing providers.
• Where required for legal or safety purposes — to comply with a legal obligation, to protect the rights and safety of RielVIP, our chauffeurs, or the public, or in connection with a merger, sale, or transfer of business assets.

4. Data Storage and Security

Reservation and contact information you submit is stored using Google Firebase's Firestore database. We take reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. How Long We Keep Your Information

We retain reservation and contact information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, including maintaining trip records, resolving disputes, and complying with our legal and tax obligations. If you ask us to delete your information, we will do so unless we are required or permitted to retain it for one of those reasons.

6. Payment Information

We do not collect or store payment card information through the Site. Reservation requests submitted through the Site are quotes and requests only; a member of our team reviews every reservation, and payment is arranged separately and directly with you.

7. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The Site may use cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, understand how visitors use the Site, and support core functionality such as address search. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling cookies may affect certain features of the Site. Our Site does not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, as there is no accepted industry standard for how to do so.

8. Your Choices and Rights

You may:

• Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
• Request that we correct or update inaccurate information.
• Request that we delete your personal information, subject to the retention needs described in Section 5.
• Opt out of promotional emails or texts by following the unsubscribe instructions included in those messages or by contacting us directly.

To make any of these requests, email us at info@rielvip.com with the subject line "Privacy Request." We will verify your identity using the contact information associated with your reservation and respond within 45 days.

9. California Privacy Rights

Because we operate in California, California residents may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to request deletion, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. As noted in Section 3, we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

10. Children's Privacy

Our Services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us so we can delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when we post the updated version on this page with a new effective date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
